Yusuke Banno

Biography
Born in Japan, raised in Arizona, Yusuke has worked as an educator and organizer in the Tucson community since 2001. He cofounded Xerocraft Makerspace and was a STEM teacher at CITY Center for Collaborative Learning.

Yusuke’s dedication to community access to arts and technology is reflected in his current work across Pima County as an instructor at various Pima County Library branches. He is also a local maker and artist, creating pieces with woodworking, laser cutting, and CNC plotting machines.

When not in the workshop or classroom, Yusuke likes to spend time with his goats, chickens, rabbits and guinea pig.
