88% of Waldorf graduates complete a Bachelor’s degree or higher, compared with 35% of the overall U.S. population.

 

Our curriculum exceeds the requirements set forth by the Arizona State Board of Regents for admission to Arizona’s four-year universities—and is preparatory for admission to selective colleges and universities across the country.

 
 

Overall, more Waldorf graduates major in the sciences, including social sciences, and math (45%) than in the humanities (38%).

Outcomes
Waldorf education goes beyond preparing students for the rigors of college and adulthood. Waldorf education is meaningful and transformative. Waldorf eduction inspires a sense of purpose, passion, and a confidence that is rare among high school graduates.

As a school with a strong college preparatory curriculum, we will individually and collectively counsel, support, and collaborate with students and their families in their college search, admission, and financial aid process. Whether the next step after graduation is college or another post-secondary option, we fully support students as they pursue their interests and passions.

Characteristics of Waldorf Graduates
Waldorf graduates have the qualities colleges and employers seek in their ideal candidates. Waldorf graduates think in ways that are imaginative, independent, and analytical; they are intellectually curious. The following traits stem from a research study titled, How Waldorf Alumni Fare After Graduating from High School, which found that:

  • Waldorf graduates feel that their education prepared them to be open-minded, creative and innovative, empathize with others, think in whole pictures, take leadership roles, and develop a meaningful perspective on life

  • 22% of Waldorf graduates pursue STEM majors in college

  • As a whole, 41% of Waldorf graduates take up professions that are devoted to helping others
