Biography
Meagan was born in South Africa, raised in Berkeley, and spent the past 20 years in New York. She is now grateful to be moving to Tucson—a place she has long envisioned herself living.

With nearly 20 years of teaching experience, Meagan has worked with students of all ages as an art teacher and Waldorf educator in the Bay Area and New York. She also served as an arts education consultant and staff developer, supporting teachers in integrating the arts across disciplines.

She is a credentialed California art teacher, certified in Waldorf Foundational Studies, and holds a coaching certification from UC Berkeley. Her academic background includes undergraduate and graduate training in fine arts, with a focus on drawing, painting, sculpture, and ceramics.

Meagan loves bringing students the full range of her formal art skills, while guiding them to discover and express their unique voices. She believes that creativity is essential to being human.

Meagan is the mother of a beautiful grown son who continues to inspire her. She loves dancing, a good cup of tea, and learning from the greatest artist of all—Earth
