Biography
Linda is a life-long teacher, fine artist and outdoor adventurer, who finally settled down in Tucson after living in California, Montana, France and New England. Having spent six summers in Arizona as a child, moving to Tucson with her family ten years ago felt like coming home. She loves everything about southern Arizona, from the giant sky to the Mexican-inspired cuisine to the hidden creeks and swimming holes in the mountains. She delights in the changing seasons and the desert wildlife. The roadrunner is her favorite desert animal and she loves seeing them cross the Loop bike path while out on a ride. Linda has taught French, art and movement courses in private and public schools. Discovering Waldorf education late in her career motivated Linda to serve as a founding board member to help create an inspiring, relevant, and accessible high school option for Tucson’s teens.
