Biography
Originally from Ohio, where she spent her youth in a constant state of reading, writing, and acting out stories, Karly is a poet, essayist, and culture writer. Karly’s love of literature spans a broad array of genres; she could talk for hours about Henry James’s The Ambassadors and do the same for Arnold Lobel’s Frog and Toad Are Friends,—with equal respect for both texts.
Prior to coming to Desert Sage High School, Karly taught creative writing workshops to high schoolers across Maine.
