Biography
Born in São Paulo, Brazil, David grew up in Oregon. As an undergraduate student, David developed a passion for alternative approaches to education, which initially led him to pursue teaching. Later in his career, David co-founded an innovative charter high school in Prescott, Arizona and served as an admissions officer for three progressive liberal arts colleges: The Evergreen State College in Olympia, Washington; Hampshire College in Amherst, Massachusetts; and Prescott College in Prescott, Arizona. Prior to joining the Desert Sage High School community, David spent the previous decade in the real estate industry, which included property development, property management services, and commercial real estate transactions.
